50 Years into the Future

The next 50 years in technology advances will bring about exponential opportunity and unprecedented change. I can imagine technologies that not only change our way of living, but also change the scope and reach of space communication and travel. Cars will fly. Holograms will teach, and traveling to the moon will be equivalent to a current day ride to Memphis. Communication with extra terrestrial beings will be as common as chatting on facebook or myspace. Science books will be rewritten time and time again and water will probably replace gasoline as a fuel. "Star Trek" the reality show will replace our beloved re-runs. The next 50 years will definitely be a new world that completely transforms our way of thinking.
