50 Years into the Future
The next 50 years in technology advances will bring about exponential opportunity and unprecedented change. I can imagine technologies that not only change our way of living, but also change the scope and reach of space communication and travel. Cars will fly. Holograms will teach, and traveling to the moon will be equivalent to a current day ride to Memphis. Communication with extra terrestrial beings will be as common as chatting on facebook or myspace. Science books will be rewritten time and time again and water will probably replace gasoline as a fuel. "Star Trek" the reality show will replace our beloved re-runs. The next 50 years will definitely be a new world that completely transforms our way of thinking.

Day 2 of the Journey
Day two of my journey started with uploading our podcasts to our blog. We then reviewed our duties and created powerpoint presentations based on our themes. We seperated into groups and learned how to make a movie with Windows Movie Maker. This was quite interesting and even though things did not go exactly how we planned, we eventually achieved our goal. Our movie, titled Project Planning displayed the process of working together as a team to get goals accomplished. I felt a combination of feelings. Eagerness and frustration. But overall I am glad I am learning new things.
A new journey in technology
Setting up my gmail account was easy. I never had a problem with hotmail or yahoo, but who would have known that today I would be beginning a journey into unknown lands: podcast, blogs, google earth, and etc. I could see any part of the world with a keystroke. When blogging ,I could not only be heard but be followed by like and un-like minds who care to share their thoughts on any given subject at any given time. I have learned a way to express myself to the world without leaving my kitchen table. Though these avenues have been available for a while, today marks my first attempt at technical conquest. .With my boots laced and TeachUp! as my guiding compass; I excitely start my new voyage into a world where information travels at the speed of light and and shines it's rays from teachers to students who need it most to grow.
